I focused on learning lots of other software programs in an effort to learn how to design from scratch and create my very own unique projects. For some reason I thought that I needed these other software programs to create my own designs.
Finally, I discovered techniques and learnt more and more about Canvas Workspace.
I was so excited when I realised that Canvas Workspace had the ability to create the designs I had planned in my head. So cool.
I couldn’t believe I wasted so much time and money trying to figure it all out. Learning other software when Canvas Workspace had features I could use to create the projects that I was trying to create AND the best bit…...
The FCM files that Canvas saves the projects to natively, meant my designs no longer required resizing and manipulating like they did when i created them in other software programs. The FCM files cut out exactly how you create them and transfer seamlessly to your Scan N Cut.
I’m excited to say I actually design in Canvas Workspace as a first preference, creating projects that I would never have believed that I was capable of!!
In fact, I will tell you a little secret…. a LOT of the designs in my Resource Library started their life as FCM files and were designed in Canvas Workspace, then converted to an SVG file for our Cricut friends. Yep… you read that correctly.
